Terms of service

Effective 27 June 2026

1. Agreement

By installing, accessing, or using ParseLift, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms are between you and Lucas Ekström, the operator of ParseLift (see Contact below for full details).

2. Who can use the app

ParseLift is available to people aged 13 and over. Users aged 13 to 17 should have a parent or guardian involved in their training and account decisions. If you sign in on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you have the right to do so and will supervise their use. AI coach and AI session review require a separate confirmation that the user is 18 or older.

3. Training is your own responsibility

ParseLift is a planning and tracking tool. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist, or qualified coach. Strength training carries real risk. You are responsible for training within your ability, using appropriate form, loading weights safely, and getting professional advice before starting or changing a program, especially if you are pregnant or postpartum, returning from injury, have a medical condition, or feel pain during training.

4. Generated plans, AI coach, and session review

ParseLift generates training plans, and Pro adds an AI coach and session review that give general training guidance based on the information the app has about your training. AI coach and AI session review are available only to users aged 18 or older. Generated plans and AI suggestions can be wrong, outdated, or unsuitable for your body. Treat every suggestion as a second opinion, not an instruction. Stop training immediately if you experience warning symptoms such as sharp or shooting pain, numbness, dizziness, chest pain, swelling, or an acute injury, and seek qualified medical help.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Email support@parselift.com immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

ParseLift Pro is a subscription, currently $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Google Play checkout shows the exact price in your local currency, including any taxes, before you confirm. Pro subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play. Pricing, currency conversion, free trials when offered, and taxes are handled by Google Play under its own terms. RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription status so ParseLift can keep Pro access in sync. ParseLift does not process your card details directly.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Cancel any time from Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

Pro Preview free trial. Separately from a paid subscription, we may offer a Pro Preview: a one-time free trial that unlocks Pro for 14 days with no payment method required. The Pro Preview is granted by ParseLift directly, not by Google Play, and a verified email address is required to start it (we check verification only to prevent abuse). When the 14 days end, your account returns to the free tier at no charge, and you are never billed for the preview. Each account is eligible for one Pro Preview.

Refunds. For recent purchases, request a refund directly through Google Play. If Google Play cannot refund a purchase itself, email support@parselift.com and we can issue a refund through the Play Console where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits your statutory refund rights.

EU and EEA right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a 14 day right to withdraw from a new paid subscription. When you buy through Google Play you agree that Pro starts right away. You can still cancel within 14 days of purchase: request a refund through Google Play, or email support@parselift.com and we will arrange the refund through Google Play. Your statutory consumer rights always stay intact.

7. Free tier

ParseLift offers a free tier that does not expire. We may adjust which features belong to the free tier over time, but we will not suddenly paywall data you have already logged. Any change to the free-tier feature set will be announced in the app.

8. Equipment links and affiliate disclosure

The app may show optional equipment shopping links during home equipment or gym profile setup. These links are conveniences, not product guarantees or safety endorsements. Some of them are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Inspect any equipment before loading it, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and train within your ability.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to access another user's data, automate requests in a way that bypasses in-app limits, reverse-engineer or probe the security of our services, redistribute or resell the app or its content, use the app to distribute unlawful material, or impersonate someone else. We may restrict or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules.

10. Service availability

ParseLift is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Google Play, our cloud providers, network outages, device problems, and bugs can all interrupt sync or online features. Your locally stored data remains accessible on your phone whenever the installed app is running. Nothing in this section reduces the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your home country.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParseLift is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the app, including lost training data, lost earnings, or injuries sustained while training. You use the app at your own risk. If a court decides these limits cannot apply, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer protections in the European Union. In particular, nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

12. Changes to the app and these terms

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms when the app, the law, or our services change. For material changes we will give notice in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you can cancel your subscription and stop using the app before the updated terms apply. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

13. Ending your use of the app

You can stop using the app or delete your account at any time from Settings, Account, and you can also request deletion by email. See the Delete your account page for both routes. We may suspend access after notice where practical if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or if we are required to do so by law. The sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, such as liability, intellectual property, and governing law, will continue to apply.

14. Intellectual property

The ParseLift name, logo, app, screenshots, marketing copy, and in-app text are owned by the ParseLift developer and protected by copyright and trademark law. Your training data belongs to you.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent Swedish courts. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the mandatory protection of the consumer laws of that country. If you are a consumer in Sweden and we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmanna reklamationsnamnden (ARN, arn.se), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. We participate in its proceedings.

16. Contact

ParseLift is operated by Lucas Ekström, Leopold Nygrens Plats 7, 652 11 Karlstad, Sweden. Questions about these terms: support@parselift.com.
