Delete your account

Summary

You control your ParseLift account, and you can delete it whenever you want. There are two ways to start: from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed. Both routes permanently remove your account and your synced training data. This page explains each route, what gets deleted, what we keep for legal reasons, and how long it takes.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and the one we recommend while you still have the app installed.

  1. Open ParseLift and go to Settings.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. For your security, sign in again if asked, then type DELETE to confirm.

Once you confirm, ParseLift immediately blocks further sign-in and sync for the account and begins removing your data. The local copy on your device is cleared as part of the same flow. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete by email

You can request deletion without the app installed. Email support@parselift.com from the email address registered to your ParseLift account, with the subject "Delete my ParseLift account". Sending from your registered address lets us match the request to the right account. We confirm by reply, complete the deletion, and remove your account and the synced data described below within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes your account and everything we hold for it in the ParseLift cloud, including:

The same removal runs whether you delete from the app or by email. The cleanup is designed to finish even if a single step is interrupted: a returning user who retries, or a daily background job, completes any account that was left part-way through, so the account always converges to fully deleted.

AI coach and AI session review messages are also sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Anthropic PBC), to generate replies. Deleting your account removes our copy of these messages, but Anthropic may separately retain a limited copy for a bounded period to meet its own safety and legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. We cannot delete data held on Anthropic's systems on your behalf; see the Privacy Policy for how to exercise your rights over any data Anthropic holds.

What we keep, and why

A few records are kept on purpose, limited to what the law and account safety require:

Deletion and your subscription

Deleting your ParseLift account removes the subscription link stored in ParseLift, but it does not cancel Google Play billing on its own. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it in Google Play subscriptions so it does not renew. You can do this before or after deletion. For recent charges you can request a refund through Google Play, and if Google Play cannot handle it, email support@parselift.com.

How long it takes

Export first if you want a copy

Deletion is permanent, so export anything you want to keep before you start. From Settings you can export your training data to a CSV file and create a local backup on your device. After deletion we cannot recover your data for you.
